Asparagus Beetle Size:35 metresThe Asparagus Beetle (Crioceris asparagi) can be a very serious problem for the growers of Asparagus plants. When in both larval and adult stages, the beetle feeds on the plants, damaging both the stems and foliage. With two generations per year, untreated areas can very quickly become infested so early identification and treatment is very important. The first generation appears on plants between May to June, with the second from August to September.
